Membership

Full Members

All current and ex-members of the 216 Squadron Royal Air Force, regardless of rank,are eligible for membership of the Association.   Full members are required to pay a one off fee of £10 and £5 annually thereafter. Full members receive a membership certificate, 216 Squadron Association pin badge, may sit on the Association committee and have full voting rights at the AGM.

Honorary members

This form of membership covers friends of the Squadron who may have had close links with the Squadron or the Association in the past or who may have been of especial help to the Squadron and its members in various ways.

The appointment of an honorary member will be for a period of 5 years. The Secretary will maintain a Register of Honorary Members and the list is to be reviewed every year by the committee

Honorary Members will be entitled to all the benefits of membership of the Association but will not be required to pay membership subscriptions.
Please contact the Association Secretary..sec@216squadronassociation.org.uk if you feel you or another person would be eligible for Honorary Membership.

Associate Members

All wives, husbands, widows, widowers and immediate dependants of members or former members of 216 Squadron are eligible to be Associate Members. Associate members will not have to pay an annual subscription. There are eligible to attend any Association function, including the AGM but will have no voting rights and are not eligible to sit on the Committee.

Membership Year

The membership year will run from 1st April to 31st March the following year.
